This session, at the Southbank Centre, was part of the annual Slow Down London season of events looking at the slow movement in terms of life in London.

Speakers included writer and critic Paul Harper, lettering sculptor and lettercutter Gary Breeze , furniture maker David Gates, artist Shelly Goldsmith and writer and author of In Praise of Slow, Carl Honoré.  Each speaker presented a brief talk on the themes of slowness in their work, followed by open questions from the audience.
